How far along? 29 Weeks 5 days
Total weight gain/loss? I think in total I have gained 15-20lbs now.
Maternity clothes? Ya I hate them. What is with the new style of stripes and shorter in the front than the back on shirts? Drives me crazy!
Stretch marks? More like varicose veins. :(
Sleep? Any time I wake up at night to rotate sides the baby goes wild. Crowberry is a night owl. Luckily I can still fall asleep with kicks and twists happening in me.
Best moment(s) this week?
Finalizing names. It may not last longer than this week but at least Nate and I both finally agreed on names for longer than a few days. Woot woot.
Miss Anything? Family. I was with family for so long and my house is just quiet now.
Movement? I love our little mover. Hiccups have been frequent this week and it is fun to know where the head is sitting and then feel the limbs all around during the hiccups.
Food cravings? No but I'm attempting to eat more protein while in my 3rd trimester. We were spoiled with fresh Halibut from Alaska so I'm hoping to change my taste buds and really fall in love with it.
Anything making you queasy or sick? This morning I accidentally grabbed a cup that had old milk in it and then started drinking water from it. My gagging reflex still has not fully recovered from it.
Have you started to show yet? I feel my best in the morning. At night I just feel huge! I think I am much bigger this time around but it is so hard to tell for sure.
Gender? When the fill-in midwife was checking the baby's heartbeat on Tuesday she commented "Yup it is a boy". I replied with "Really? That is exciting"! She was instantly embarrassed that I didn't know the gender and then tried to cover her tracks saying that was just her guess. I realize that it might not be accurate but I love having one more person guessing boy. That makes 4 people who are guessing boy.
Labor Signs? Oh man I think I have moved past braxton hicks and onto contractions. I have had some pretty intense tightening in my uterus this week. I still try to let it roll off my shoulder when they are extremely close together but part of me still worries.
Belly Button in or out? Depends on where the baby is sitting.
Wedding ring on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time? Happy ish. I have been potty training for a few weeks now and that is stressful. I am running out of patience but trying so hard not to.
Looking forward to? Setting up all the baby stuff and finish nesting. I really want Kendrick to see that there are things that belong to the baby and not him. I hope it will help with him understanding that a new little person will be added to our family soon.
I want to add what we are thinking on baby names. I love feed back and don't really mind people knowing. I'd rather hear terrible name stories during pregnancy than after the baby has been named.
Boy: Garrett George Crow (Nate is still hoping for Spencer as a middle name)
Girl: Leah Allene (possibly Bessie) Crow
I was talking with my mom yesterday telling her our newly discovered names we liked and she told me info that had me love Leah even more. Apparently Leah is the name of the Grandmother that my mother knew. My Great Grandma Bessie passed away at 42 and my Great Grandpa later remarried Leah Marie. My middle name was chosen in honor of her. If we have a girl I think it is fate that we should name her Leah Bessie... but we still have 2 months to decide and the possibility of having a boy.
These pictures are from Sun night. At least I finally took some... even if I am in pj's and look lame.

ReplyDeleteI love the names! And cute belly! Makes me miss being prego so bad! I loved that stage. Not the uncomfortable stage yet, and able to feel all those little kicks! Nothing quite like it. And I am guessing a girl :)
